Before you start
- Measure first: measure the window or wall-to-wall width and pick the length range that includes it with some room to spare.
- Adhesive brackets: need a clean, dry, smooth surface; textured, dusty, damp or peeling paint will not hold.
- Heavy curtains: use screwed brackets or the centre support, and push splicing sections together firmly.
- Frames: peel the protective film off both sides of the clear cover before inserting the print.

Stick the no-drill brackets
Wipe the surface clean and dry, peel the backing and press each bracket firmly in place, then splice the rod to length and set it in. For heavier curtains, fix the same brackets with the screws and anchors from the box.

Fit a tension rod
Set the rod about an inch longer than the opening, place one end on the wall, compress the spring and bring the other end level, then twist until it holds. On heavy-duty rods, use the push button for the rough length first.

Hang the magnetic rod
Place the two magnetic brackets on a steel surface, then push the rod firmly into them. There is no left or right bracket. It will not hold on aluminium.

Mount a wrap-around rod
Screw the bases to the wall, assemble the rod with its curved ends, thread the curtain on and drop the rod into the bases. To wash the curtain, lift the rod out again; the quick-release rod comes off at the press of a button.

Mount a rod with brackets
Mark the bracket positions evenly above the window, drill and fix the brackets with the anchors supplied, extend the rod to length (twist-lock models lock by turning) and add the finials.

Install the curved shower rod
This rod is drilled: fix both rotating brackets at the same height, splice and extend the rod to the shower width, clip on the rings and set the rod into the brackets.

Install the closet rod
Screw the two U-brackets to the side walls, slide the rod to length between them and tighten the side screws to lock it.

Assemble a shoe rack
The expandable racks go together by hand with the screws in the box. On the tall garage rack, fit the anti-tip kit to the wall, especially in homes with children or pets.
